SPJIMR extends a warm welcome to GMP Batch 18 as they begin their transformative journey at the institute following the recent batch inauguration ceremony held on campus.

The batch comprises professionals from diverse backgrounds, with 70% coming from sectors like IT, Real Estate, Pharma, FMCG, Banking & Finance, Advertising, Marketing, Analytics, and more. Additionally, 30% of the batch comprises freshers from backgrounds such as BTech, BE, BCom, BA, Hotel Management, BBA, or BSc. Upon completion, students will have opportunities to join partner schools – ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, Nyenrode Business University, IÉSEG School of Management, and Stevens Institute of Technology, expanding their global horizons and opening doors to exciting career prospects.

Prof. Milind Kamat, Chairperson Global Management Programme, shared valuable insights into the programme’s genesis and evolution, highlighting the unique aspects of a GMP participant’s international career path. Prof. Snehal Shah Associate Dean, Academics & Research, advised the participants to “Go global but keep your feet deep-rooted in India,” emphasising the importance of maintaining a strong connection to their roots while embracing global opportunities. GMP alum Zeal Raichura from Batch 14 shared her personal experiences and journey, offering inspiring advice to the new batch to be curious, patient, and trust in themselves, encouraging them to embrace challenges and make the most of their GMP experience.
