Congratulations to the 32 budding entrepreneurs who participated in the first Graduate Certificate Programme in Entrepreneurship (GCPE) cohort for successfully completing the programme. GCPE, launched on June 11, 2023, is a uniquely crafted programme aimed at empowering undergraduates and fresh graduates from different educational streams across India with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in the entrepreneurial world. Over the course of five intense weekends, the 32 participants embarked on a transformative journey that combined classroom sessions led by experienced practitioners, alumni entrepreneurs, and SPJIMR faculty, with interactive discussions and hands-on activities. The hybrid mode of learning allowed for a seamless blend of theoretical knowledge and practical insights, giving the participants a holistic understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The participants, representing diverse backgrounds and perspectives, were able to tap into their creativity and entrepreneurial potential, fostering innovation and fresh ideas. The highlight of the programme was the Business Plan Presentation, held on July 8, 2023. The cohort presented their well-crafted business plans to a jury of esteemed experts. This provided them with an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial vision and receive valuable feedback from industry experts. The GCPE cohort also benefited from a supportive community of like-minded individuals, forming connections that will undoubtedly continue to thrive beyond the programme’s completion. As the programme concluded, participants were reminded that this was not the end but the beginning of a lifelong relationship with SPJIMR. The participants were encouraged to stay connected with their fellow participants, mentors, and alumni, thus fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous growth.
