The SPJIMR family of students, faculty and staff got together virtually today morning to celebrate India’s 74th Independence Day.
The celebrations began with the live streaming of the flag hoisting ceremony from SPJIMR campus, attended by SPJIMR professors, Dr Suranjan Das, Dr Sajeev Abraham George, Dr Vidhu Shekhar and Dr Sreedevi R. The flag was hoisted by Dr Suranjan Das.
SPJIMR Dean Dr Ranjan Banerjee then addressed the online gathering of SPJIMR family of students, faculty and staff and spoke about the importance of getting freedom from deep-rooted biases. This was followed by singing, dancing and other artistic performances featuring Indian patriotic songs, put together virtually by students of SPJIMR’s PGDM and GMP programmes.
