SPJIMR organised an interactive session for its Global Management Programme (GMP) Batch 18 with Hardik Khatri, Founder, AVTARAN Group. The Avtaran group has presence in 16 cities in India, Europe and Middle East. With over 18 years of experience, Mr. Khatri has consulted for HNIs, startups, and corporations in India and Europe, specialising in inbound and outbound investments.

He shared his expertise in taxation, financial management, and financial structuring in banks, corporate houses, and financial institutions. The session provided key insights into the landscape including discussions on financial statement analysis using real examples from domestic and international contexts. He. The participants summarised their key takeaways from the session as

• Discovering the important ratios to consider when evaluating a business for the long term.
• Learning about the key points auditors consider while auditing a firm.
• Understanding the key metrics businesses should keep in check to ensure a good long-term run.

SPJIMR’s Global Management Programme (GMP) is for participants aspiring to study abroad and launch their global careers. GMP partners with top-ranked management institutes across Europe, the UK and the USA to offer full-time international management programmes. The programme intakes two cohorts every year in January and June. The participants complete their first semester at SPJIMR, where they learn the fundamentals of general management.
