Abhyudaya starts the academic year with ‘Sitara Parent Meet’

Team Abhyudaya started the academic year with a heartwarming meeting for the Sitara parents at SPJIMR Mumbai. The event celebrated Sitaras for their academic accomplishment in the recent SSC & HSC board exams. The toppers shared their success stories and highlighted how Abhyudaya provided them guidance and support.
Arati Nagaraj, Director Abhyudaya, moderated a panel discussion with Sitara parents on the importance of parent engagement and the role of parent in shaping the Sitara journeys with Abhyudaya. This was followed by an informative session to inform parents about how Abhyudaya functions and the details of the grants it offers. They were also briefed about the various events and activities that will be conducted throughout the academic year like the mentor home visits, summer camp, Sunday classes, sports, masti mela & the flagship event Hastantaran.
Abhyudaya is a transformative experiential learning course where PGDM participants mentor underprivileged school children called Sitara, contributing to UN SDG 4 of Quality Education. Know more
