The book, Satish Kumar: Abundant Love (Longform Conversations series), authored by SPJIMR Prof. Jagdish Rattanani with Sudarshan Iyengar and Lisa Pearson was launched at The Great Hall, Dartington, Devon, in South West England on May 29, 2023. The event featured a stimulating discussion with the authors and the subject of their book, the notable peace pilgrim Satish Kumar, Co-founder of Schumacher College and Editor of Resurgence magazine.

The book allows readers to dive deep into a 30-hour ‘long-form conversation’ with Satish in which the authors have eloquently elicited his experiences, reflections and insights. The book is the first in the “long-form conversation” series that brings to focus global leaders who have offered a vision and lived a life away from the dominant narratives of our times. It focuses on ideas of sustainability, eco-spirituality and the Gandhian way. Jagdish Rattanani is the series editor for these books published by Triarchy Press, UK, recognised for its publications in the area of Systems Thinking.

To commemorate the book launch, the India International Centre will host a discussion on the book with the authors at its facilities in New Delhi on July 08, 2023.

Prof. Jagdish Rattanani is a distinguished faculty with the Department of General Management at SPJIMR. He has authored or co-authored over 400 articles in various popular newspapers and media publications. He has been associated with leading colleges in journalism as a visiting faculty. His expertise and research interests lie in the areas of communication (journalism), sustainability, business ethics and governance.
