Convocation instructions

Please read the instructions carefully to ensure a smooth and memorable experience.

Dress code

Adherence is mandatory. Please wear your gown, stole, and cap correctly.

Formal Western or Indian attire

Gentlemen

Formal Western attire (dark trousers, white shirt, and tie)

Instructions for graduates

	Morning session	Evening session
Registration	Complete registration at the Convocation Hall from 8:00 am. Collect certificates and transcripts.	Complete registration at the Academic Block from 2:00 pm. Collect certificates and transcripts.
Arrival	Proceed to the venue and be seated in your assigned area by 10:00 am. Ensure your guests are seated by this time.	Proceed to the venue and be seated in your assigned area by 5:30 pm. Ensure your guests are seated by this time.
Conduct	Maintain decorum throughout. Remain seated unless directed.
Procession and anthem	Please be seated for the academic procession at the beginning and rise (if able) for the National Anthem.
Receiving certificates	Queue as guided by your programme team. Step onto the stage, receive your certificate or scroll of honour, and return promptly to your seat.
Photography	Official photographers will capture the moment. Pause briefly on stage. Guests are requested to remain seated and not approach the stage. Optional photographs will be available in the designated area until 2:00 pm (morning session) and 10:00 pm (evening session).
Conclusion	The ceremony will conclude by 12:30 pm, followed by lunch adjacent to the venue.	The ceremony will conclude by 8:30 pm, followed by dinner adjacent to the venue.

Morning session

The Convocation Hall opens at 9:00 am. Guests are requested to be seated by 10:00 am.

Graduates must register and collect entry bands for themselves and their guests from 8:00 am.

Entry to the Convocation Hall is permitted only with the registration band.

Lunch will be served after the ceremony between 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm.

The Convocation Hall opens at 5:00 pm. Guests are requested to be seated by 5:50 pm.

Graduates must register and collect entry bands for themselves and their guests from 2:00 pm.

Entry to the Convocation Hall is permitted only with the registration band.

Dinner will be served after the ceremony between 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm.
