SPJIMR has been honoured with the Coursera 2024 ‘Maximizing Impact’ award in India. This award recognises our institute’s significant contributions towards enhancing learner employability, expanding learner capabilities, fostering collaboration, and creating meaningful social and personal impacts. SPJIMR’s innovative approach to education and its commitment to driving positive change have been instrumental in achieving this honour.

The PGDM Online team, led by Prof. Debmallya Chatterjee, Chairperson – PGDM Online, collected the award on behalf of SPJIMR. Commenting on the honour, he said, “It is great to see SPJIMR’s impact extend beyond our on-campus programmes and into the realm of online education. Receiving the ‘Maximizing Impact’ award from Coursera is a powerful affirmation of our efforts to make a real difference in this space. It reflects our commitment to delivering transformative online learning experiences that create meaningful change.”

The award ceremony took place on October 22, at the Trident BKC, Mumbai. Additionally, as part of the Connect Conference held alongside the award ceremony, Prof. Debmallya also participated in a panel discussion titled ‘Digital Upskilling and Future Proofing Pathways to Employment in India’. The panel brought together leaders from academia, business, and government to explore strategic learning and career pathways, focussing on preparing India’s workforce for the future.
