The SPJIMR family came together to celebrate India’s 79th Independence Day, aligned with this year’s theme, Azadi ka Amrit Kaal – Innovation and creativity: Viksit Bharat. The theme reflected the institute’s commitment to nurturing future leaders who will contribute meaningfully to India’s development journey.
The celebrations began with a march past by NCC cadets across campus, followed by the flag-hoisting ceremony. As the tricolour unfurled, the community stood united in national pride.
Participants presented cultural performances that showcased India’s rich heritage alongside contemporary expressions, symbolising how innovation draws strength from cultural traditions. The event highlighted the creative spirit that thrives within the SPJIMR community.
Adding further vibrancy, the institute observed ‘Ethnic Day’, with faculty, participants, and staff dressed in traditional Indian attire. A photoshoot captured these moments, celebrating the diversity and unity of the community. The morning concluded with a brunch that brought together all members of the SPJIMR family.
The celebration reaffirmed SPJIMR’s role in developing leaders who will drive India’s transformation through innovation, creativity, and wise leadership—contributing to the nation’s journey towards Viksit Bharat.
