About Social Impact Awards (SIA)

SPJIMR’s Development of Corporate Citizenship (DoCC) organises the Social Impact Awards (SIA) annually to recognise social enterprises and organisations for their outstanding contributions to societal development across six award categories: Agriculture and Livelihoods, Women’s Empowerment, Sustainability, Health, Nutrition, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Education and Skill Development.

The year 2026 marks two decades of the DoCC Social Impact Awards. Established in 2006, SIA has evolved into a rigorous and credible platform that brings together experts and thought leaders from the corporate, academic, and social development sectors to assess the impact of participating organisations. The evaluation process systematically and comprehensively examines organisational initiatives and outcomes against well-defined, holistic parameters. This robust, transparent, and multidisciplinary framework has positioned SIA as one of the most respected and sought-after recognitions within the social impact ecosystem.

Objectives

  • To identify and recognise exemplary work by social organisations across the country that are making an impact on society.
  • To provide a platform for multi-stakeholder projects to showcase themselves and get recognised at the national level.
