Term 1 and 2
Upon enrolment, participants gain exclusive access to Harvard Business Publishing Courses, a world leader in management resources. This preparatory phase ensures all students, regardless of background, build a strong baseline in quantitative methods, financial accounting, finance, spreadsheet modelling using Excel, management communication and mathematics for management. The GMP programme architecture is designed to be flexible while accommodating the specific credit recognition requirements of partner schools.
The programme provides comprehensive coverage of core management courses such as leadership, strategy, marketing, finance, supply chain, and operations, alongside cutting-edge data science courses such as AI and digital transformation, business modelling, ELT, data storytelling, and digital product management. Mandatory courses include project management (with PDUs that students can then use to pursue PMI certification), problem-solving using design thinking and quantitative methods for decision science. Foreign language (German or French) training up to 200 hours is mandatory. This prepares students for their international destinations.
International partner schools offer a portfolio of specialisations. The programme also provides electives for specific partner schools. Download the details of specialisations offered by each partner school to know more.

Programmes offered by GMP in collaboration with the US Schools are STEM-designated. This gives 3 years of OPT to students after graduation. So, the timelines for these schools are as follows:
As the internship cycles start around May/June every year, it aligns well with the January intake. This also goes well with the STEM requirement of studying for at least two semesters in the US, full time, without which a student is not eligible to take up internships in the US.

The June intake is mostly for the European B-Schools. There is no specific internship cycle in Europe, like in the US. Internships can be done as per partner school requirements and internship availability. Local language is a very important element of integrating with the country and acquiring internships. So, a lot of emphasis is laid on language training and approx. 200 hours of language classes are covered. The partner schools along with support from alumni actively help GMP participants to seek internships and jobs.
