Inauguration of PGEMP Batch 83 took place virtually on September 15, in the presence of incoming students, SPJIMR Faculty, Staff and the chief guest, Mr. Kurian Parambi, Executive Director (HR), BPCL.
The event commenced with the student-teacher relationship prayer. Dean Dr. Varun Nagaraj shared the philosophy of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and explained how SPJIMR’s core values relate to the incoming participants. Dr. Preeta George, SPJIMR Associate Dean and PGEMP Chairperson spoke on how PGEMP is built on the model of experiential learning and imparts managerial and soft skills that will help the participants to move into leadership positions. Dr. Jyoti Jagasia, Associate Programme Head-PGEMP, gave an overview of the programme and its learning goals. Chief guest, Mr. Kurian Parambi encouraged the participants to collaborate with faculty and peers.
Batch 83 comprises of participants from L&T, India Medtronic, Emerson, TCE Consulting Engineers, Sterling & Wilson, Yes Bank, Dassault Systems, BPCL, Tata Capital, Tata Motors, Asian Paints among others
