SPJIMR celebrates Diwali 2025 with colour, creativity, and togetherness

The SPJIMR campus came alive with colour, creativity, and joy as the institute celebrated a week-long Diwali extravaganza, bringing together the entire SPJIMR family in a spirit of festivity and unity.
October 13: The celebrations began with the distribution of gifts to all members of the SPJIMR community, setting a warm and festive tone for the week ahead.
October 14: The day featured sandwich-making and lantern-making competitions that showcased the community’s culinary flair and artistic ingenuity.

October 16: The bay decoration competition saw departments transform their workspaces into stunning themed displays. From Lord Krishna’s Vrindavan and awards night to village scenes and historic forts, each bay told a unique story through creative execution.

October 17: The celebrations culminated in the Diwali main event — an evening filled with music, dance, laughter, and nostalgia. The programme began with captivating solo singing performances by faculty and professionals, followed by graceful solo dances that showcased individual artistry. Group dance performances added vibrancy and energy, while a creative skit and a mime act brought humour and expressive storytelling to the stage.
The highlight of the evening was a spectacular fashion show that took the audience on a nostalgic journey through the decades. Participants and faculty walked the ramp in styles ranging from retro Bollywood to contemporary fashion, celebrating the evolution of Indian style with flair and elegance.
The festivities concluded with a Diwali special high tea, offering the SPJIMR community a chance to come together and celebrate the festive season.
SPJIMR congratulates all winners and extends heartfelt thanks to every participant for making Diwali 2025 a celebration to remember. The week was a vibrant reflection of SPJIMR’s spirit of togetherness, creativity, and cultural richness — values that continue to illuminate the heart of the institute.
