SPJIMR observed International Men’s Day 2025 with a dedicated health awareness session on Tuesday, addressing critical health concerns that impact men across all age groups.
Dr. Prajay Lunia, the in-house doctor, led an engaging and informative session, focusing on three major health issues: hypertension, diabetes, and heart attack. The session drew significant participation from employees across the institute, reflecting the community’s growing awareness about preventive healthcare.
Dr. Lunia shared practical insights on recognising early warning signs, understanding risk factors, and adopting lifestyle modifications to prevent these conditions. The interactive format encouraged employees to ask questions and seek personalised guidance on managing their health effectively.
The hour-long session created a safe space for open conversations about men’s health—a topic that often remains overlooked in workplace wellness initiatives. Employees appreciated the opportunity to learn about preventive measures and gained valuable knowledge about maintaining cardiovascular health and managing chronic conditions.
The event concluded with high tea, allowing participants to continue informal discussions and network with colleagues whilst reflecting on the session’s key takeaways.
This initiative reinforces SPJIMR’s commitment to holistic employee wellbeing and creates awareness about health issues that deserve greater attention and proactive management.
