SPJIMR PGPM shines at Brandstorm 2025!

December 18, 2025

We are delighted to share that participants from SPJIMR’s Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) emerged as National Winners at Brandstorm 2025, the flagship national case competition. The event, hosted by SVKM’s NMIMS, Mumbai, in collaboration with the Union Bank of India, witnessed over 1,200 participating teams from top business schools across the country. Amongst the 23 national finalists, SPJIMR was the only institute with two teams in the national finals, making this an especially proud moment for all of us.

Our winning team, Disha Hans and Karan Seth, impressed the jury with their bold and future-ready strategy — ‘Forever 21 2.0′ — a visionary plan to revive the global fast-fashion brand through a community-led, data-driven, and purpose-centric approach. Their idea reimagined Forever 21 as a brand that truly speaks the language of Gen Z and Gen Alpha — authentic, inclusive, and ever-evolving. They presented their work before an esteemed panel of judges, including Sameer Shaikh (DGM, BigBasket) and Ashish J. Banka (Founder, Goosebumps Media), who lauded their insight and creativity.

Commenting on their win, Disha said, “This journey reminded us that great brands aren’t built in boardrooms but are built through empathy, curiosity, and a deep understanding of the customer. Every challenge is an invitation to think more deeply, listen more closely, and create more effectively. With belief, persistence, and the right partners, you can turn uncertainty into achievement.”

A special mention to our second national finalist team, including Shubhansh Ganguly and Namasvi Parikh, who demonstrated exceptional creativity and strategic thinking. Competing together, both teams showcased the SPJIMR spirit of collaboration, empathy, and innovation that lies at the heart of our learning philosophy.

This achievement reinforces SPJIMR PGPM’s commitment to developing leaders who combine business acumen with human-centred insight — proving once again that great brands, like great managers, are built through understanding people, not just markets. Congratulations to our students for this outstanding accomplishment and for representing SPJIMR with such passion and purpose.
