PRME Chapter India Meet 2026, themed ‘Transforming mindsets: Institutionalising sustainability’, was held online on February 26, 2026, to encourage wider participation from the PRME community across geographies. Organised by SPJIMR’s DoCC, the 2026 edition convened 200+ academic leaders, industry experts, sustainability practitioners, and students to advance dialogue on embedding sustainability within management education.
Mr. Ganesh Reddy, Secretary, UN GCNI, presided over the inauguration alongside Prof. Varun Nagaraj, Dean, SPJIMR, and Prof. Chandrika Parmar, Director, Development of Corporate Citizenship (DoCC) at SPJIMR. The conclave then moved into breakout rooms on sustainability centres and models of institutionalisation, covering partnerships, pedagogy, research, and student engagement, with academic leaders from IIM Ranchi, BIMTECH, IBS Hyderabad, and Jaipuria Institute of Management.
Students from SPJIMR, GIM, Chitkara Business School, BIMTECH, and Jaipuria Institute contributed perspectives on curriculum and social impact.
In his address, Andrew J. Hoffman (University of Michigan) challenged institutions to move beyond shareholder value toward a broader societal vision.
