The Post Graduate Management Programme for Women (PGMPW) awarded by AACSB
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) has recognised SPJIMR’s PGMPW under its ‘Innovations That Inspire’ category. This category is to “highlight the variety of ways that business schools are changing the face of business education.”
This year AACSB received a pool of 315 submissions, spanning 33 countries and 188 institutions. For the second year running, SPJIMR is the only Indian school to feature in the prestigious ‘Innovations That Inspire’ list and has received an award under the category 'Engaging a Diverse Community.'
The citation this year came to SPJIMR for its innovative academic initiative, the PGMPW, which launched its maiden batch of 20 women participants earlier in the year. The programme is designed to meet the needs of women leaders and managers who are ready to return to their careers after a break.
Congratulations to the efforts of the participants, faculty and the PGMPW team headed by Dr. Sumita Datta who has taken a shared aspiration of our faculty body, and converted it to a tangible, high quality programme within a short period of time.
