The 13th Indian Management Conclave 2023 - India’s largest management education conference held annually and organized by MBAUniverse.com in collaboration with SPJIMR took place at the SPJIMR Mumbai campus between October 13-14 this year.
The purpose of the gathering to bring the best think tanks in the industry on a common platform was to discuss the changing landscape of management education in the digital age and the best way forward.
Aptly themed, “Business Value Creation in the Age of Disruption: Implications for Management Education.” the conclave was an inspiring venue for kindling discussions and presenting point-of-views around the subject by none other than renowned industry leaders, policymakers, academicians and business professionals.

Once a Sitara, always a Sitara! SPJIMR Abhyudaya Sitara Alumnus Vaibhavi Patil shares her inspiring journey of growing together with Abhyudaya.
She recounts heartwarming memories and key transformative experiences from her journey of being a mentee to being a mentor now at Abhyudaya. Vaibhavi started working at ICICI Bank as a Deputy Manager in September 2023. She sent Abhyudaya part of her first paycheck as a donation. This is our FIRST Sitara alumni who has given back and demonstrated the meaning of “gratitude”.

On October 13th, the Centre for Financial Innovation, CFI, SPJIMR, hosted Demo Dayfor the FinNovate Accelerator- Cohort. The day was an opportunity for finance- based start-ups to go all out and showcase their creations to a plethora of investors, hunting for the appropriate companies to take a conscious risk and invest - hoping for the golden goose at the end of it all.
This event witnessed an incredible showcasing of innovation and entrepreneurship, where 13 finance based-startups presented their innovative and disruptive solutions to an audience of investors, including Angel Networks, Family Offices, VC's, HNI's, Corporate Investors. and Corporate Partners.
If one were to get down to specifics among the hunters were over 30 investor institutions close to 15 VC firms and 4 Family Offices; in addition to Angel Networks and prominent Corporates from the BFSI space.

SPandan presents Alumni Awards and Reunion: 15th to 17th Dec 2023
It is SPandan time again. Only this time it comes in a new avatar. Unlike earlier years where it used to be a single-day big bang alumni reunion meet in the evening with individual batch reunions in the morning, this year the ARO team has transformed it into a three-day wholesomely devoted affair. The cultural spectacular will play out at the Mumbai campus from 15th to 17th December 2023.
On the first day, attending alumni will interact with faculty and later attend the alumini award felicitation function. The next day they can tour the campus and attend classroom sessions to get a feel of the good old days. Reunion batches will be felicitated and the event will conclude with an exquisite drinks and dinner banquet.
As with every extravaganza, the general goodwill and gaiety will spill over to the third and final day over a heartwarming brunch, to leave behind nostalgic memories, once more.

Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGPDM) |

Admissions are open for the 23rd batch of the Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGPDM) at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans SPJIMR Mumbai, India’s top management school, according to the recently released Financial Times Rankings (FT MIM 2023).
PGPDM is affordable and feasible for working professionals.
It is taught by top-tier faculty and is AMBA & AACSB accredited.
This program is for anyone planning to start, develop, or make a career in NGOs, CSR, or social enterprises, or to strengthen their practice in social welfare, rural development, and government poverty alleviation departments.
Applications will be processed on a rolling basis, that is, first-come, first-served until all available seats are filled.

The GCPE program is designed to help young minds launch their entrepreneurship goals.. It will provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Modules on business planning, finance, marketing, and other topics are included.
Experiential learning is the teaching pedagogy used in this GCPE program, Participants are instilled with an entrepreneurial mindset as a result of the program’s teaching..
The program is conducted over one month (Hybrid Mode) during weekends on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings without disturbing the undergraduate academic timetable.
