About ‘Social Sector Samvaad’

The webinar series of CISD, "Social Sector Samvaad", engages in insightful conversations with recognized experts about the new developments, wise innovation practices, and challenges in the social sector, with a particular focus on reaching out to small and medium-sized NGOs.

Samvaad aims to disseminate relevant knowledge and skills to help build the capacity of NGOs and "not-for-profit" sustainability and support groups, who find it challenging to stay abreast of the latest developments in the social sector.

About Storytelling in the Social Sector

Storytelling in the social sector is a powerful tool for driving change and inspiring action. It humanizes complex issues, making them relatable and compelling. Through personal narratives and real-life examples, it connects donors, volunteers, and stakeholders to the mission, fostering empathy and engagement. Effective storytelling can elicit emotions, raise awareness, and mobilize support, driving positive impact. It is the bridge that transforms statistics and data into meaningful, transformative experiences that drive social progress.
