As Director of Consumer & Market Insights & Media of L’Oréal, Mr Kavita Angre understands consumers’ behavioural patterns and can generate valuable insights to craft strong marketing strategies to reach the right target audience. Ms Kavita has been leading the insights team for all divisions and categories in L’Oréal India for the past 6 years.
She started her career with P&G in the Insights function and soon got lured into the dotcom world by an education portal.
After a couple of years in the dotcom world, she joined Unilever (then HUL) in their Foods business in Insights. Her career in Unilever took her across America, Europe and Asia, where she worked on categories such as Spreads & Dressings, Soups, Ice-cream, Beverages and Water purifiers. Throughout her different stints, she was responsible for delivering insights to drive business growth, with the most memorable one being her global role out of Pureit across developing countries such as Indonesia, Brazil and China. After 12 long and satisfying years with Unilever, she joined L’Oréal India.
Ms Kavita has done her MBA in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. She has a Bachelor degree in Engineering in Computer Technology from VJTI, Mumbai.
Alongside all the insighting work, she is an adventure sports enthusiast and did the Everest Base Camp trek in 2014.
