PGPM comprises 15-months of in-class learning followed by 3 months of Industry Immersion. This programme is ideal for participants who are looking for an Executive MBA. It is designed as a career accelerator that enables candidates with minimum 5 years of work experience and strong domain expertise, to move to expansive roles in general management.
Strong Academic Rigour
PGPM participants are provided with a solid foundation in management fundamentals in the first phase followed by a deep dive into their chosen area of specialization in the second phase. Participants are offered specialization in areas of Business Analytics, Finance, General Management, Information Management, Marketing and Operations & Supply Chain. The rigor, range of electives and grading in the one-year MBA programme is similar to the 2-year MBA programme. Classroom learning and takeaways are however enhanced in PGPM owing to the diverse and extensive work experience of the participants and the resultant peer learning.

Diploma Awarded

Clubs
We believe that professional clubs, if functioning well, will have a great impact on the personality and placements of the participants. These clubs are platforms for participants to interact with alumni and professionals in their fields of interest. This helps them to build formal and informal networks while exploring career opportunities.
Committees
At SPJIMR- PGPM, Student committees are formed to encourage the concept of "Learning by Doing". In these committees, the participants may freely experiment with ideas and learn to work effectively to develop:
- ' Team skills' and ' collaboration' without compromising on individual interests.
- Learn human relations, ' interpersonal skills' and ' self management' in order to ‘get things done’ in an organization.
- Learn the biggest tool for success - ' influencing without power'. The participants will work with their peer group over whom they have no power or authority and 'get work done'.
PGPM comprises 15-months of in-class learning followed by 3 months of Industry Immersion. It is offered by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) to candidates with at least five years of work experience and strong domain expertise. The programme enables participants to move to more expansive roles in general management. The one-year on-campus programme begins after a compulsory three-month module that is completed online.
On successful completion of the programme the participant are awarded the ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Business Administration’ (PGDM – Business Administration).
PGPM is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, International- AACSB International, the oldest and one of the most widely used accrediting body in the world. PGPM is also accredited by The Association of MBAs (AMBA), U.K. The programme is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The PGPM programme prepares candidates to lead larger teams and take on wider responsibilities in business. Typically, a PGPM participant moves from a limited exposure in a functional area to growing as a manager with broader knowledge, skills and the attitudes to take on larger roles. Most of the participants come from core technical backgrounds and have found the programme useful in transitioning into techno-functional and general management domains.
The three-week International Immersion programme provides students with an opportunity to attend sessions in some of the top ranked global business schools. The immersion aims to give students an insight into the global world of business. The sessions are held by faculty members from that school. In addition to the classroom sessions, the students also get an opportunity to undertake industry projects and visits to get a hands-on learning experience. This immersion is an integral part of the PGPM curriculum. The overall fee includes immersion fees. The institute will help facilitate the visa process but the visa process will be the individual responsibility of each student.

- Finance/Marketing: Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, New York, USA
- Information Management: McCombs School of Business, the University of Texas at Austin, USA
- Operations and Supply Chain: Eli Broad College of Business Michigan State University, USA
The fully wifi-enabled campus has state of the art classrooms equipped with latest technology. The students are provided spacious and hygienic air-conditioned accommodation. The campus has a comprehensive and enabling infrastructure including a library & reading room, dining facilities, gym and other recreational facilities like sports grounds, walking tracks and a music room. Medical and health care services such as doctor on call, doctor on campus, and emergency ambulance facilities are provided.
There is no provision for special housing for married students. SPJIMR provides shared hostel accommodation for students for the duration of the course. Staying in the hostel is compulsory for all candidates.
Yes. The PGPM programme has a dedicated career services team that supports students with their placement process. The career services team provides support in both preparing the students for placements as well as soliciting participation of companies for campus placement process. Yes. Placement services are provided to students who come on sabbatical as well.
Banks like SBI, Corporation Bank & Union Bank of India provide loans based on the offer letter given by SPJIMR. SBI is also running a Scholar Scheme, under which they provide educational loans to SPJIMR students without any guarantor or collateral, and the loan will be sanctioned on the name of the student only.
