PGPDM Admission Process

PGPDM seeks to partner with development sector professionals who have the urge to be agents of change and are keen to create an impact within their organisations and the community beyond.

Candidates applying for the PGPDM should at least be a graduate (from any discipline) from a recognised University, with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in the development sector / CSR sector.

The medium of instruction is English and the participants are expected to have basic proficiency in computers. It is mandatory for each participant to have a ‘mentor’ from their organisation who performs an important role in the learning process of the participant.

Eligibility

A candidate applying for the PGPDM:

  • Should be a graduate (in any discipline) from a recognised university.
  • Should have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
  • Should have basic proficiency in computers and comfortable with English as it is a medium of instruction.

Application process

  • Applications are invited for admission to PGPDM Batch 23 starting from February 2024
  • Applicants should fill out the online application form on the SPJIMR PGPDM admission portal after carefully reading the brochure
  • An application processing fee of INR 1000 has to be paid while filling up the application form
  • Application process, participants interviews, and admission offers will be done on a rolling basis

Selection process

  • The applicants are shortlisted on basis of their profiles and information provided in the application form.
  • The shortlisted candidates are called for an online personal interview with the faculty of SPJIMR.
  • Based on the performance in the interview, candidates are selected and offered a seat in PGPDM.
  • Successful candidates have to show original documents supporting educational qualifications, professional experience and their identity, address, etc. on the day of reporting at campus.
  • Any discrepancy found between information provided in the application form and supporting documents during reporting might lead to cancellation of admission without repayment of application processing fee.
  • Only those candidates who get shortlisted for the interview and get selected after the interview will receive communication from SPJIMR. There will be no further communication with those who do not get shortlisted for the interview or are not selected after the interview.
