The main objective of the Financial assistance and Mirae Asset Foundation Scholarship is to provide monetary assistance to the meritorious and needy students of the first and second year of the PGDM Programme. The scholarship will be made available only when the Programme commences. The process will take place every academic year.
Merit Based Scholarship will be applicable to second year students depending upon their performance in the first year.
Merit cum - Means Based Financial Assistance - The institute offers financial assistance to needy students of the first year and second year based on assessment of need, academic performance, extra-curricular activities and conduct. The financial assistance will be in the form of reimbursement of the tuition component of the PGDM fee structure.
Applications are invited usually in the month of July. A panel will evaluate the financial need of the student, as well as establish the genuineness of the details provided. Based on the evaluations of the panel, applicants are provided partial or full financial assistance.
Mirae Asset Foundation (MAF) Scholarship – MAF Scholarship is instituted by the Mirae Asset Foundation to provide scholarships to meritorious and needy students of the first and second year, whose family income is less than INR 8 lakhs.
Mirae Asset Foundation is an Indian charitable foundation that primarily works across several areas of educational development in India. The foundation’s work ranges from providing scholarships for students at all levels of education to working on educational initiatives with institutional partnerships, including schools, colleges, government agencies, civil society organizations and other entities.
MAF will offer Scholarship of INR 10 lakhs per year for two students of the first year (INR 5 lakhs per student) and INR 10 lakhs per year for two students of the second year (INR 5 lakhs per student). The recipients of this scholarship will be called a Mirae Asset Scholar. Detailed guidelines as to what this entails will be circulated among the prospective applicants after the commencement of the Programme.
Merit Based Scholarship - Students who are selected for International Exchange and who fulfill certain criteria, will be eligible for a scholarship towards meeting expenses as exchange students in a partner B-School of international repute. The scholarship will be in the form of reimbursement for expenses related to return travel from India to the international B-School, visa and insurance fees and lodging during the course work. The scholarship amount will be based on actuals up to a limit of INR 2 lakhs, which will be disbursed after the Institute receives the grades from the partner schools.
Students that are ranked within the top 30 in the batch based on CGPA available at the end of the first year of the Programme will be eligible for the Merit Based Scholarship.
Further guidelines to the selection process for International Outgoing Exchange and the scholarship will be circulated after commencement of the Programme.
A Student will be eligible for only one of the above Financial assistance / Scholarship
