SPJIMR welcomed batch 8 of PGPGM (2-year, weekend Executive Management Programme) at its Mumbai and Delhi campuses on August 31, 2024. The diverse batch represents industries such as FMCG, BFSI, IT/ITES, automotive, consulting, engineering, and healthcare, among others. Nearly 60% of the batch has more than eight years of work experience, of which 22% have more than 12 years of work experience.
Highlighting the importance of continuous learning, Sanjay Tripathi, HR head India, CNH Industrial Ventures, Chief Guest at the Delhi Campus, encouraged participants to give their 100% in everything they do. Sumit Neogi, Managing Director Human Resources—MEISA Region, FedEx, Chief Guest at the Mumbai Campus, emphasised the importance of cultivating strong professional relationships founded on trust and mutual respect.
Participants imbibed the spirit of SPJIMR, as Prof. Preeta George, Associate Dean, Executive Education, quoted SPJIMR’s former honorary Dean, the late Dr. Shrikant, to highlight that material success can ring hollow without an understanding of ‘the deeper purpose that must guide our decisions and a spirit of service that must lead us to action’. Prof. Ruppal Walia Sharma, Programme Chairperson, and Prof. Avinash Ghalke, Deputy Chairperson, encouraged participants to keep an open mind and engage actively in the learning process.
