The inauguration of SPJIMR’s Post Graduate Executive Management Programme’s (PGEMP) Batch 86 was held in a hybrid format earlier today in the presence of incoming students, faculty, staff and the chief guest, Mr. MVN Rao, Head Learning & Development, L&T. The batch comprises working executives from L&T, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Reliance Retail and Schneider Electric.
SPJIMR Associate Dean, Dr. Preeta George shared the 3 main aspects of the participants’ journey – Personal interest, relationship building in the learning community – a collaborative approach to learning and an open mindset to change.
Dr. Anshul Verma, Chairperson PGEMP, shared the 3 goals of PGEMP – To develop an integrative approach to problem solving, decision making in a global and domestic environment and to encourage leadership with values.
“No man ever steps in the same river twice. For it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.” – Mr. Rao advised the participants to be flexible & open to all kinds of experiences, seek help and to persevere.
