SPJIMR on 30th November celebrated the annual Social Impact Awards 2016, bringing together students and non-profits to recognise projects and stories born out of the rural internship programme run as a part of the pioneering DoCC initiative.
SPJIMR on Monday (Nov.28) took an exciting new step in its journey towards nurturing and promoting a culture of research at the Institute with the launch of the much awaited Fellow Programme in Management (FPM).
SPJIMR has added yet another feather in the hat courtesy the performance of Aloona, Shoaib Ahmed, Sri Sai Surya Teja Nookala and Vatsala Pant as they bag the national finals of Johnson & Johnson Quest. The team stood first among tough competition from IIM A, IIM B, IIM C, XLRI, FMS, ISB, SJMSOM and NITIE by putting up a stellar performance for the same.
They also received a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000 and Pre-placement interviews for the Management Trainee programme at Johnson & Johnson. Kudos to their achievements!
SPJIMR team emerged national winners at the 4Ps Challenger competition organised by Nestle India. All 3 participants got a PPI!
SPJIMR second year PGDM participants - Anmol Sharma, Mayank Lohia and Rohan Khandelwal emerged as the national champions in this marketing based competition.
This was also the first time that Nestlé opened their competition for SPJIMR. The final round took place in the corporate office at Gurgaon, where the team had to present their case solution before the Management Committee of Nestlé along with the Chairman and Managing Director.
As National Winners, they received Rs 1 lakh prize money and PPIs to all the members.
OutThink is Larsen & Toubro’s case study competition, where students from invited institutes register to participate. L&T’s OutThink 2016 was a great success. With 1000+ teams from across 27 of India’s premier B-schools fighting to OutThink each other, the competition this year was challenging and extremely exciting.
Team Concept from SPJIMR advanced to the National Round where 8 teams from B-schools across India were fighting it out for the honors. The finals were held on 17 November 2016 in the Powai, Mumbai office of L&T. Team Concept brought out a fresh perspective in their solutions and were adjudged winners of OutThink 2016. We congratulate Ronak Chawla, Shashank Grover and Richa Singh for the same.
