Programme genesis

As per a research about working women in India:

  • India ranked 120th among 130 countries in terms of participation of women in workforce.
  • The share of women in service sector is less than 20%.
  • The presence of women in board levels is still seen as a mere regulatory requirement.
  • A McKinsey Global study in 2015 found that India could increase its GDP from 16-60% by 2025 if women are enabled to participate in the economy at par with men.

Programme goals

  • Rooted in behavioural mentoring and personal development, the programme is designed to be a catalyst for each participant as she taps into her inner strength and builds on it to influence positive change in self and others.
  • Understanding of self and learning strategies to achieve their personal & leadership purpose.
  • An experiential approach to resolving an immediate and significant interpersonal challenge.
  • A personal development plan with specific strategies to strengthen leadership capabilities.

Pedagogy

Reflective exercises, psychometric assessments, role plays, videos case study and group discussions. ‘Interpersonal Challenge’ is an experiential approach to address an immediate, significant and complex interpersonal situation and strive for a breakthrough while receiving peer coaching support. The participants will be working in groups for the interpersonal challenge supported by group coaching.
