Application process

  • The admissions process for the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is designed to assess academic readiness, research aptitude, and motivation for a scholarly career.
  • To apply, candidates must complete the online application form available on the SPJIMR website.
  • Application requirements include:

    - Valid score in CAT / GMAT / GRE / GATE / ATMA / UGC-NET / UGC-JRF.

    - Statement of purpose (SOP) outlining motivation for pursuing the programme.

    - Indication and elaboration of research interests.

    - Three letters of recommendation, including at least one from an academic referee.

  • Application fee: ₹1,000 (non-refundable), payable via credit/debit card or net banking.

Eligibility criteria

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with First Class or equivalent Grade Point.
  • OR a five-year / four-year Integrated Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent GPA.
  • OR professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA, or CS with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Valid test scores in CAT / GMAT / GRE / GATE / ATMA / UGC-NET / UGC- JRF.
  • Applicants holding a PGDM / MBA from SPJIMR, MDI, IIMs, IIT Management Departments, XLRI, IRMA, TISS, ISI, XIMB, FMS, or IIFT may be exempted from submitting test scores.
  • Both recent graduates and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate the motivation and capability to pursue a rigorous research programme.
