Smita Aggarwal has 30+ years of financial services experience as an Investor and banker. She is currently a Limited Partner in RaliCap, a global fintech focussed seed fund and an independent member of the investment committee of Omnivore Capital. She has held leadership positions in organizations such as Omidyar Network, ICICI Bank, Fullerton India Credit and CAFRAL (RBI’s think tank). She is on the Board of IIFL Asset Management, U GRO Capital and ShopUp. She is also a Member of the Fintech Advisory Board at NYU Stern Fubon Center for Technology, Business and Innovation. She is part of the organising committee and advisory board of Global Fintech Fest, India’s largest annual fintech event.

Smita is a fintech investor and a thought leader with deep expertise in venture capital, financial inclusion, digital banking, micro-insurance, and financial regulation. She has been listed in “Top 35 Global Women in Fintech Powerlist, 2020”, “Top Women in Finance, 2019”, and “Top 30 Fintech Influencers, 2019”.

Smita is passionate about teaching and is a guest faculty at New York University Stern School of Business. As a mentor, she will bring her diverse experience in networking, sourcing deals, investment diligence & approval, board positions, portfolio management and exits.
