Ritu Sajnani is presently working as a Senior Legal Counsel with Coinswitch, a leading crypto exchange in India. She is a dynamic professional with around a decade of PQE, including in top corporates like Reliance Industries and NSE, and Tier-1 law firms like AZB and CAM, where she has also been instrumental in setting up the Fintech practice. She has handled multiple roles of Regulatory, M&A, Compliance, General Corporate, and Fintech and advised clients on a wide range of matters, including cross-border transactions, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance issues.
She has represented several Indian and multinational fintech, banking, broker, exchange and asset management companies on transactional and regulatory matters.
What she has enjoyed doing the most is advising start-ups and founders to set their businesses, acquisitions, and growth strategies (including some, where she has been a part of their pre-seed to IPO stages!) and helping them tide through all regulatory complexities (courtesy of her stint in NSE as a Legal counsel).

Advised Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (“RRVL”) on their acquisition of 25.8% stake in Dunzo Digital Private Limited (“Dunzo”) on a fully diluted basis. Dunzo has raised USD 240 million in this funding round led by RRVL (investing USD 200 million)
Advised Omega TC Holdings Pte. Ltd. (“Omega”) (an investment vehicle of the Tata Opportunities Fund) and Tata Capital Limited (“TCL”) on the proposed sale of their shareholding in Roots Corporation Limited (“Roots”), which owns and operates Ginger Hotels, to The Indian Hotels Company Limited (“Taj”), where Omega and TCL are collectively selling over 30% in Roots to Taj, for a consideration in excess of INR 350 crores
Advised Visa International Service Association in its acquisition of stake in M2P Fintech, Asia’s largest API infrastructure company
Advised Tata Sons in the assignment of title sponsorship rights from Vivo
Advised Nextbillion Technology Private Limited (Groww Group), India’s leading investment tech platform, on its acquisition of Indiabulls Asset Management Company Limited and Indiabulls Trustee Company Limited, the asset management company and trustee company, respectively, of Indiabulls Mutual Fund, from its sponsor, Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited
