Preeta George

Professor, Finance & Economics

Associate Dean, Executive Education

Preeta George holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. Her Ph.D. research concentrated on International Financial Integration and Interest Rate Parity in India. In her academic career spanning over three decades, she has taught Economics at leading management institutions for undergraduate, postgraduate courses, and executive management programs.

She has led senior administrative leadership roles as head of programme and dean of flagship MBA programmes at business schools. Currently, she is the ‘Associate Dean – Executive Education’ and Professor of Finance & Economics at SPJIMR. Her research and perspectives on current economic and financial trends are published in leading periodicals and media platforms.
