Harit Joshi

Assistant Professor

Operations Supply Chain Management & Quantitative Methods

Harit Joshi is a faculty in the area of Operations Supply Chain Management & Quantitative Methods at SPJIMR. Harit holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. His dissertation examines the value provided by coordination mechanisms like matching and dynamic pricing in ride-hailing platforms. His research interest lies in the areas of supply chain coordination, agent-based modelling, sharing economy, multi-sided platforms and urban mobility.

Before his Ph.D., Harit worked in the automotive industry with Ashok Leyland and Daimler for almost five years in various functions like production, procurement & logistics and new product project management. Before joining SPJIMR, Harit was working as an assistant professor at the business school of the Jindal Global University.
