02/2019 – 02/2022 Developing consciousness in business leaders
A research study of conscious leadership development, a collaboration between Macquarie Business School (Macquarie University, Sydney – Australia) and SPJIMR.
This study is being conducted by Tatiana Donato Trevisan, a PhD student at Macquarie University (Macquarie Business School – MBS), under the supervision of Prof. Debbie Haski-Leventhal and the advisory of Prof. Surya Tahora.
SPJIMR offers an innovative MBA program that includes Non-Classroom Learning (NCL) programs focused on developing self-awareness, self-management and societal awareness. It is committed to developing leaders that care about people and society while bringing success to the business.
This research study aims to understand how developing awareness and self-mastery as part of an MBA course can support the development of conscious leaders in order to support future training and programs to increase the number of conscious leaders in our society.
The academic contribution of her work is to investigate the emerging field of theories of adult consciousness development and leadership that support the idea of conscious leadership.
This research also aims to find out the main characteristics needed in a leadership training program in order to promote an effective rise of consciousness in leaders. The elements of the SPJIMR leadership training program will be analyzed from current SPJIMR MBA students as well as the impact on its alumni.
