Machine Learning is getting embedded in a big way in various business models and processes. In today’s world managers need to understand the power of this new technology and be able to use it in their functions. The technology companies are making it increasingly easier to use machine learning. Big data populated by customer knowledge, the logistic processes supported by IOT are being analysed by machine learning. The participants will be exposed to concepts and principles behind machine learning through case studies and hands-on practicals. They will get to understand the main thrust of machine learning.
The programme will have hands-on sessions to support various cases and business applications.
This course aims at providing first-hand experience in Machine Learning using cloud computing and other possible open source tools. The focus will be on understanding concepts and principles. Although the tools are not central to the learning they will aid in this process of clarifying basics. There will be multiple hands-on exercises. This course exposes participants to run Neural Networks in R. Students will have the opportunity to work with Weka and H2O for Deep Learning. Python has been gaining significance in the Machine Learning arena. Participants will experience that as well.
To understand machine learning in businesses applying Neural Networks and other algorithms.
No prior coding knowledge is required.
However a keen mind set and curiosity to understand new technology is a must. It is critical to accept that in the new digital world managers need technological support to thrive and prosper.
Participants will need to install some of the open source tools on their own laptops as suggested by instructors.
