Introduction and Objective

Teams have become a significant tool by which organizations accomplishes their objectives. The success of any managerial efforts largely depends on the executives' ability to develop and sustain the team spirit among the people under his/her care both as a team member as well as a team leader. The interpersonal skills for building and working in teams, and managing conflicts, become essential prerequisites for team leaders.. The focus has to be on the different roles of team members and how they complement and supplement each other for enhanced cooperation and collaboration.

Transition from managing individual contribution to being a team member to contributing through other team members ensuring consistent performance is a challenging task. Thus, dealing with ineffective team performance remains a concern for most team leaders, be it in research teams, product-development teams, production teams, sales and marketing teams, cross-functional problem-solving teams, or top management teams. The principal highlight of the program would be to enable participants experience the impact of working in teams vs.  as Individuals  and its impact  on Individual and team  performance

The program is designed to emphasize team based approach to enhance collaboration and cooperation for effective performance. It would enable participants to understand the role and importance of building high levels of trust and maintaining openness, realisation & inclusion, learn how to manage their own styles and orientations, while influencing others as leaders in their teams, understand the dynamics of peoples' interaction within teams, and develop skills for leading and sustaining team culture in the organization. '

This Programme would provide team leaders and team members experience and guidance on how to improve team performance. This program would help the participants hone their skills and provide the tools to deal with multifarious issues of ensuring sustained performance from their teams.

Methodology

Besides a few concept-based sessions, the methodology will include simulations, feedback, and discussions. The program shall utilize a rich and healthy mix of interactive lecture sessions, research instrument based feedback, experiential exercises, role-plays and learn-by-doing techniques to help the participants further sharpen relevant skills. The participants shall be encouraged to express themselves and further increase their personal and interpersonal effectiveness in a group setting.
