Alumni Board Meet

The FMB Alumni Board meet held at SPJIMR campus witnessed 20 alumni across batches. Dr. Tulsi Jayakumar addressed the alumni about the current changes in the curriculum and also spoke about the classroom sessions which are associated with the alumni like Fireside chat, Family Friday, etc. They also discussed about the future assignments / sessions which are planned to be taken in different cities to connect with as many alumni as possible.
Nashik Alumni Meet

The Nashik Alumni meet held at Express Inn, Nashik, brought together 30 alumni from FMB Batch 4 to FMB Batch 27, to interact with each other, as also hear of the latest updates from SPJIMR and FMB programme. The event was marked by an infectious energy and a touch of nostalgia, as the various batches connected with each other, and exchanged memories of their respective time at the institute.
Gujarat Alumni Meet

The First FMB alumni meet for Gujarat was held at Avadh Utopia, Surat with about 20 attendees, a mix of alumni and current participants, who connected over work, shared their experiences of life and business, and more. It was an interactive and engaging session for the extended FMB family.
Fireside Chat at Delhi

The Delhi Chapter of the SPJIMR FMB Fireside Chat, held at the SPJIMR Delhi campus, was a huge hit. Around 40 alumni attended the session, where they talked about the journey, the experiences, the challenges and more from the case studies of Bittoo Tikki Wala (BTW) and Bagrrys India.

The SPJIMR FMB Fireside Chat Kolkata Chapter was held at Hotel Radisson and attended by 40 alumni. The half-day event comprised two fireside chats. The first guest for the event was Mr. Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, MD and CEO, Bandhan Bank, in conversation with Mr. Siddharth Agarwal, Second Generation Scion, Future Publishers & Distributors and FMB alumnus, Batch 16. The second chat had Mr. Prem Jain Chairman, The Jain Group, in conversation with his son Mr. Shrayans Jain, Vice Chairman, The Jain Group. The entire session was moderated by Mr. Arpit Dhandhania, Director, Bally Exports Ltd. and OMP alumnus, Batch 4.
Fireside Chat at Mumbai

The first ever Fireside Chat series for FMB alumni was held at the SPJIMR Campus. The topic for discussion was ‘Family Managed Business’, which was conducted in two chat sessions. For the first, Mr. Apoorva Mehta, CEO, Dharma Productions was in conversation with Mr. Akshaye Rathi, Film exhibitor and distributor and FMB alumnus of Batch 14. The second chat was between the Kamath brothers of Natural Ice Cream, Mr. Srinivas Kamath, FMB alumnus of Batch 10 and Mr. Siddhant Kamath and moderated by Mr. Gunjan Saboo, President, Mala International and FMB alumnus of Batch 2. Both the chats were followed by Q&A round.
01st April, 2019
Batch 25 of PGP-FMB participated in the first Round Table Conference event held on the SPJIMR campus. The participants were divided into teams covering 10 industry verticals according to their business. Twelve alumni from the respective verticals were invited to be a part of the event. Each team then shared their business issues and sought valuable inputs from the respective alumni on how to resolve them. The participants were thrilled to interact with their seniors and have them shed light on their concerns.
Alumni Meet at Chandigarh

An Alumni meet was organised at Hyatt Regency, where around 25 FMB alumni across batches from Chandigarh, Ambala, Ludhiana and neighbouring cities attended the event. There was happy camaraderie, as people met old friends and new, and exchanged notes on life after the institute.
