PGPM offers the facility of Rolling Admissions, where your application will be examined as soon as it is received. The result is that you are likely to hear from us much in advance.
Along with Rolling Admissions, PGPM extends Early Offers to exceptionally bright candidates. This implies that if you are an outstanding candidate, you have an offer letter from PGPM, even before the last date of accepting applications has elapsed. Rolling Admissions and Early Offers help you plan your transition from a full time job to a B School smoother.
Interviews take place throughout the admission cycle, from the month of February to August in the cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. The candidate, if shortlisted for the interview, would have the choice of opting for one of the interview venues. Candidates living abroad at the time of being shortlisted, have the option of appearing for the interview over SKYPE. The SKYPE interview is held as per institute’s timings (IST).

Case Study Analysis and Group Discussion
Candidates are given a short essay/case to study and note down their points and/or solutions as per their comprehension and understanding of the given essay/case. Post this the 4-5 candidates are grouped to further discuss the essay/case at hand and come up with unanimous solution/analysis.
Each candidate will go through at least two rounds of interviews in addition to the above. The first round of interview is to understand the link between candidates’ chosen area of specialisation and their work experience. The second round of interview is to understand the candidate’s overall fit with the PGPM programme and with SPJIMR’s values and culture. The process seeks to delve in to the candidate’s future goals, personality aspects, and communication skills.
All of the above are conducted on the same day. Please note that the call for an interview is not a guarantee for admission to the PGPM programme. The final admission will be based upon the candidates’ work profile, performance during the interviews, past academic record, and performance in CAT/ XAT and GMAT exams. Further candidates, with a low CAT / XAT / GMAT score may be shortlisted and called for an interview. They have the opportunity to take the GMAT exam and submit the final score by Aug 31, 2020.
