Celebrating innovation for societal impact
The TaSIC 2025 Wise Innovation Awards recognised companies that had created meaningful societal impact through technology. Participants were asked to nominate organisations driving wise innovation. They had to conduct in-depth research and showcase how their chosen organisations expanded the traditional understanding of innovation by incorporating a broader range of stakeholders and generating significant societal benefits.
In the final presentation round on 21 February 2025, 12 teams presented their findings before a jury comprising Navi Radjou, Sudeepto Deb, and Ramanan Ramanathan. The teams were judged on their wise innovations, which integrated sustainability, accessibility, and social impact.

3rd prize – ₹25,000 (joint winners): Medha Kriti Gupta and Vaibhav Raghavan – Cresa GreenTech’s Hot Water-Soluble Sanitary Pads
3rd prize – ₹25,000 (joint winners): Jinal Jain and Ranjan Tripathi – Alt Carbon’s Rapid Enhanced Rock Weathering
3rd prize – ₹25,000 (joint winners): Manish Banerjee and Pritish Wadhwa – SHIVAY’s LN2-Based Refrigerated Transport System
