Mentorship: Building the Foundation for India’s Future Leaders

In a recent Forbes India article, “Why Mentorship Holds the Key to India’s Future Leaders,” Arati Nagaraj, Director of Abhyudaya at SPJIMR, highlights why mentorship is crucial in shaping India’s future leaders. She emphasizes that mentorship is not just about giving advice — it fosters resilience, nurtures confidence, and instills values that enable individuals to lead with empathy and purpose.

This vision is embodied in SPJIMR’s Abhyudaya initiative, where PGDM participants mentor schoolchildren from underserved communities in Mumbai.
