|
SPJIMR’s Centre for Wisdom and Leadership (CWIL) brings to you ‘The Second Winning’, a unique programme designed as a conscious transition from a notable career to a noteworthy life.
The need for transition is often felt at a time when success, as defined this far, has been achieved and one begins to sense a ‘what more’ or ‘Is this it’ kind of stirring within. The Second Winning can be seen as a rite of passage to fully participate and contribute in crafting a memorable and meaningful life which you cherish and others remember. The design and structure of the programme draws upon various Wisdom traditions, advances in western Psychology and Neuroscience research, and learnings from contemporary thought leaders.
Programme Details: The programme has 2 components
1. The offline component of ‘The Second Winnings’ will be conducted at Vana, one of India's best wellness retreats, nestled near the foothills of the Himalayas in Dehradun.

Abhyudaya Updates |
|
|
 |
We reside in a global village - Same to Same. And nothing expresses it better than a live interaction with people from many cultures.
On 31st October, 2022, Abhyudaya students got a chance to interact with students of Think Global School from 19 different countries: Bangladesh, Belarus, Brazil, Egypt, France, India, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lesotho, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Turkey, UK & USA, in a session fueled by the idea of the world as a diverse place with more similarities than differences.
At first, it appeared as though everyone in the class was different from one another, but as the session progressed with the visiting students showcasing their home country on Google Maps, and speaking about them and then exploring commonalities together by answering simple questions like "How many languages do you speak?", or "How many siblings do you have?", the students discovered they were incredibly similar in a wide range of ways.
The session also included a debate on whether the world was becoming a better place or going downhill which sparked off an engaging conversation between the two competing teams, each consisting of sitaras and the visiting students.
As the discussion went on, Sitaras gained more knowledge about the world and the similarities that exist among people wherever they may be in the universe.
