Annual Convocation 2022

Our Annual Convocation 2022, held on May 14, at our institute's sprawling Andheri Campus In Mumbai, bid adios to 570 participants of seven programs including PGDM, PGPM, PGMPW, PGEMP, PGPGM, PGPDM, and FPM. Dean Dr. Varun Nagaraj addressed the participants, how can applications of innovations be used to remove the imperfections and how the institute is using Advancing Wise Innovations.

To eagerly witness the students being honored with their graduation credentials were 1500 people including participants, families, faculty, alumni, and staff.

Managing Director, and CEO of the Mahindra Group, Dr. Anish Shah, was Chief Guest. The Convocation was chaired by Mr. Deepak Parekh, Chairman of SPJIMR's Governing Council.

The Dean, Associate Deans, and the Programme Chairs led the Convocation Procession which was joined by the faculty and graduating participant.

Alumni & Visitors Lounge Inaugurated

On May 5, 2022, the spanking new alumni and visitors lounge was inaugurated by Dean, Dr. Varun Nagaraj, along with former Alumni Relations Office  Head, Prof. Aditi Divatia, Prof. Ratika Gore and current Alumni Relations Head, Prof. Abbasali Gabula.

This event was organized by our Alumni Relations Office.

PGPFMB Silver Jubilee celebrations

Debate, Comedy and general bonhomie marked the start of the year-long Silver Jubilee celebrations of PGPFMB to be held across the length and breadth of our institute. The inaugural event held on April 23, 2022, in the Dr. M.L. Shrikant Auditorium, kick started with a fireside chat between Mr. Harsh Mariwala, Founder & Chairman, Marico, and Dr. Tulsi Jayakumar, Executive Director, CFBE.

After the chat subsided, alumni, students, faculty and staff were presented a stand-up comedy performance by none other than  famous comic entertainer Mr. Atul Khatri, that had them roaring with laughter long after the curtains were drawn.

Archana Mittal (PGPDM, Class of 2017) has been honoured with the Women Inspirational Award 2022 by the Women's World Records, India. Read more here

Mumbai Alumni's Nostalgic Meet

Two years was long enough to whet the appetite of our Mumbai alumni as they strolled down the long corridors of their institute after a gap of two years and had a close interaction with Dean Dr. Varun Nagaraj and Abhyudaya Sitaras.

Our Canteen Spice and Spoon dished out a scrumptious menu, that made the day, May 7, 2022, absolutely unforgettable!

Kudos to the SPJIMR Mumbai Alumni Council and the  Alumni Relations Office (ARO) for organizing this get-together.
