On Sunday, February 12, Abhyudaya held its Sustainable Business Shark Tank Event.

As part of the Abhuydaya course, participants of SPJIMR’s  full-time, two-year management program, which includes both (PGDM and PGDBM students,) explored the notion of sustainable busines pitching their business ideas, in groups of five, to an industry panel,

Unlike other ideation events, this one had a twist. The participants had to demonstrate to the judges how people, planet, and profit were intricately woven into their business ideas. This was done to encourage the flow of ideas that would benefit both people and planet and would be supported by environmentally friendly technology.

Practical and profitable ideas that leveraged on the community’s abilities and resources would find favor with the Sharks the event’s judging panel.

The Sharks, who were senior professionals from the corporate and non-profit sectors, as well as our alumni, were onto the game of determing the strongest ideas.
