Social Impact Awards 2024: Humanitarian Triumph

For those engaged with social causes they think has made a real impact in the real world, it is time to step back, mark your calenders, and let others evaluate your performance.

SPJIMR’s Development of Corporate Citizenship (DoCC) has announced its

Social Impact Awards 2024 (SIA).

The award acknowledges exemplary contributions made by social sector organizations, social enterprises, CSR Wings, CSR  Foundations,  to society, in .areas of Agriculture and Livelihood, Disability, Education and Skill development,  Health and Nutrition, Water and Sanitation (WASH) Sustainability and Women empowerment.

May 17, 2024 is the last date for submitting applications to be evaluated for impact by thought leaders from corporate, academia, and social sectors

Abhyudaya

Arati Nagaraj, Director of Abhyudaya expresses her deepest thanks for our alumni's support and encouragement to Sitaras.

On behalf of Abhyudaya Sitaras, I would like to thank you for contributing to the enrichment programs for 2023-24. Abhyudaya served 353 Sitaras in the 2023-24 year. Sitaras were supported in the after-school enrichment program by providing computer classes, winter camp activities, sports, chess, competitive exam preparation and counseling sessions. 

For 2023-24, Alumni donations totalled INR 3,78,500 this year and went towards sponsorship of Sitaras and general Abhyudaya programs. All donations go directly in supporting Sitaras, no administrative or infrastructure costs are included in your donations. Along with general donations, one of our Alumni donated company CSR funds that we used towards the purchase of sports shoes for Sitaras to wear during Summer camp and future sports activities.

Whenever you are in the SPJIMR neighbourhood next, do let us know so you can come visit Abhyudaya and the Sitaras. We would be honoured to share the work we are doing to build a stronger and enriched community.
