SPJIMR community came together to light up the 2025 Teachers’ Day celebrations with energy, creativity and camaraderie. PGDM, PGPM, and GMP participants honoured and thanked their teachers for their unwavering support, lived wisdom and constant encouragement through inspiring poems, songs, guess-who segments and engaging performances. Faculty members and programme teams actively participated in the celebrations, making it a memorable event.
Prof. Amol Dhaigude set the tone with his debut stand-up act, leaving the audience in splits with witty insider jokes. Professors Ashita Aggarwal, Aditi Divatia and Arati Nagaraj matched steps gracefully in the captivating performance by SPin, the SPJIMR dance club. Professors Sukriti Sekhri and Debmallya Chatterjee brought to life students’ journey at SPJIMR through a medley of Bollywood songs. PGDM programme leadership duo— Prof. Ajinkya Navare and Prof. Sajit Mathews engaged the audience with their soul-stirring music spanning Western classicals to regional and folk. Professors Akshay Iyer, Sajeev George and Sapna Malya raised the bar with their powerful solo karaoke.
The show stopper was the surprise Pink Floyd performance by Dean Varun Nagaraj and his band of participants. This grand finale brought together the essence of the celebration—talent, collaboration, and the bonds that strengthen our community. Every year, SPJIMR’s Teachers’ Day celebration highlights the unique faculty and student bond at SPJIMR that extends beyond academics and lasts lifelong.
