Do I need to indicate my area of specialisation while applying for
the PGDM Programme?
At the time of applying, students need to indicate their choice of specialisation
out of the following options - Information Management, Operations, Marketing
or Finance.
How do I get financial aid?
Banks like SBI, Corporation Bank & Union Bank of India provide loan
based on the offer letter given by SPJIMR. SBI is also running a Scholar
Scheme, under which they are providing educational loan to SPJIMR students
without any guarantor or collateral, and loan will be sanctioned on the
name of the student only. (For updated terms and conditions please contact

What are the eligibility criteria?
Minimum 3 years of Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised
University in India or abroad.
What will be the programme fees?
Program fee is Rs. 4 lakhs (for batch of 2007-2009). Fees for batch of
2008-2010 will be announced shortly.
What is the residence requirement for the programme?
PGDM is a two-year full-time residential programme.
Is there any special housing arrangement for married students?
SPJIMR does have a hostel and staying in the hostel is compulsory for
all candidates. There is no provision for special housing for married
candidates.
The program recognizes that the participants
will need to exercise authority and take responsibility for performance
of others. Its focus is on recognition of the values and skills each individual
participant brings versus an effort to develop skills afresh. Placement
is also designed to be an individualized process with personal company
selection.
