PGDSM-MIT starts Virginia Tech Contact Sessions

The Cohort-IV of PGDSM-MIT started their course on Masters in Information Technology (MIT) with the arrival of Dr. Luiz A. DaSilva on campus. Dr. DaSilva is a powerhouse of knowledge on Computer Networks and Telecommunications. The participants had an opportunity to not only study the subject 'Fundamentals of Computer System' but also obtain insights on a plethora of topics including Buffalo Networks (a sensors project he is working on), Cognitive Networks and Economic game Theory. The participants got a sneak peek into his next paper to be presented in the IEEE conference as well.

Dr. Thomas T. Sheehan addressed the class on September 10, 2007. Dr. Sheehan is the Director of 'Masters of Information Technology' Programme, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia and he was here to take a course on 'Systems Approach to Business Modelling.’

The third contact session was taken by Dr. Tarun Sen on 'Information Systems Design and Data Modelling.' Dr. Sen is the Associate Dean of 'Graduate and International Programmes' Programme at Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech.
