Sports Day

A long awaited day for all SPites to show that they conquer the sports field with the same élan as they do with studies. The proceedings started in the inspirational presence of Hon'ble Dean Dr. M.L.Shrikant.Aniruddh, Amlan, Gautam and Shubhra were in charge along with a team of volunteers from PGP.

The starting track events of women 100 and 200 mts belonged to PGP1 as Namita showed that she is the sprint queen. PGDSM-MIT also scored medals at a fast clip with the PGP 1 guys fading behind.

As the day progressed the real sport czars emerged. Ashima from PGDM had a wonderful day as she bagged gold after gold - Long jump, Javelin throw - Shotput. She also figured in the winning team of 4X100 mts relay race.

The guys track events were MIT fiefdom with 100 and 200 mts races going their way. Satsang from PGP2 won gold for the 1500 mts race.

At the end the day turned out to be a huge carnival of fun.
