Alumni On the Move Bithin Talukdar

Mr. Bithin Talukdar is an Alumnus of the 1997 batch of SPJIMR International Business. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (Formally REC).

Bithin is responsible for marketing all of the solutions encompassed by HP's "Align" range of OpenView solutions - the capability to enable Business/IT Alignment, IT Governance and Compliance.

Bithin joined HP Software in India as Market Development & Alliances Manager in 2001 and has been since responsible for enterprise and channel marketing, market development activities for HP software, itSMForum, software alliances and ISV relationship development. He has handled special projects including development of the software support services; small and medium business initiatives for software.

He is the founding director of IT Service Management Forum, India Chapter. He is also the press and analyst spokesperson for HP Software in India.

Previously Bithin was Group Product Manager with Microland and Business Manager IDC with Spectranet, a Broadband MSO before joining HP. He started his career with Larsen & Toubro and then moved to Greave Limited for industrial sales. He has an overall industry experience of 12 years.
