ConsultCom's SPECTRUM Program – Consulting as a Career

Consult Com's SPECTRUM program got off to a great start with a guest lecture by Mr. Ravind Mithe, Executive Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers, India. Mr. Mithe heads Industrial and Consumer Product Practice and has more than 20 years experience spanning manufacturing, procurement, supply chain and general management. He brings with him a thorough understanding of concepts such as BPR, Total QualityManagement,TPMand Six-Sigma.

The focus of the lecturewas to make the participants better equipped to handle various job roles in consulting. Mr. Mithe spoke about the phases involved in consulting and shared his experience on the roles and stages of a consulting assignment. In his insightful lecture, Mr. Mithe also cleared some myths about consulting and discussed the practical problems faced by consultants. The lecture was followed by a Q&A segment. This lecture was a valueadd to those participants who were keen on a career in consulting but did not know about the practical aspects and requirements of the job.
