The institute’s art club Canvas decorated the SPJIMR auditorium with rangolis and paintings. The day was marked by an assortment of programmes starting with Desh Rang, a riveting rendition of Vande Mataram. Tarangini, comprised a soulful rendition of popular patriotic songs. The musical performanceswas followed byAwakening India, a series of videos, in which the young participants of SPJIMR talked about their ideas of freedom, their vision for the nation's future and howthey could contribute to it. Pride in its Stride- a play on the independent India's fight against various challenges captured the audience's imagination with its strong narrative. The play portrayed the contribution of individuals to India and how their ideas transformed the nation. The final performance of the day was a brilliant classical dance performance titled ‘Mighty India’. The wide range of emotions displayed in the dance performance highlighted India's diversity. The day ended with a special freedombreakfast. The efforts put in by the organizing team were commended by the faculty and the participants.
